Rejoice, Rejoice, Rejoice

This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us ALL rejoice and be glad in it.

I woke up with the word Rejoice in my Spirit. I know we say "thank you Lord for all you are doing," and "we love the Lord." But, are we really rejoicing in Him? Are we really thankful? Are we showing our Love by our actions?

I know you may be going through something right now and you may not feel like rejoicing, but the word tells us to rejoice in our sufferings and when His glory is revealed, you will be overjoyed. 1 Peter 4:13 Instead of asking God why you are suffering, ask Him for Whom is this struggle intended for. You are not alone because we all have and will suffer at some point. When you suffer in Christ, it will draw you in and you will have a deeper relationship in Christ and all of your thoughts will be on Him instead of your suffering. We have a powerful tool at hand that can see us through any situation and that is the WORD of God. Find a scripture you can meditate on when you are going through a struggle. Satan would love for you to give in to him. Continue to pray, read the word and sing songs of praise.

For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted
above the enemies who surround me;
at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the LORD.
Psalm 27:5-6 (NIV)
