Therefore encourage one another and edify one another, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Terrific Testimonial Tuesday

Terrific Tuesday to everyone! Today we will devote this post for sharing a testimony. If God has been good to you and have brought you out of a situation when you did not see a way out, please share. No testimony is too big or small. Never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. 2 Timothy 1:8

Check out the New Look..

Sisters of Honor's Blog has a New Look. In honor of our 1 Year Anniversary we now have our own logo. Please let us know what you think. I am so excited about it. My new friend Edie did a wonderful job. If you are in need of a blog or website logo, please check her out. You can contact her by clicking the Designed by blog button. Please tell her I sent you. She is AWESOME!

I think she captured the transformation of one emerging into a beautiful woman and soaring off into doing what God has called her to do. Just like a butterfly transitioning from a cocoon into a beautiful butterfly.

Have a Wonderful Day.

Don't forget to share your thoughts.

Don't Worry

I love God because he listened to me, listened as I begged for mercy.
He listened so intently
as I laid out my case before him.
Death stared me in the face,
hell was hard on my heels.
Up against it, I didn't know which way to turn;
then I called out to God for help:
"Please, God!" I cried out.
"Save my life!"
God is gracious—it is he who makes things right,
our most compassionate God.
God takes the side of the helpless;
when I was at the end of my rope, he saved me.
Psalm 116:1-2

You don't have to carry around the burden of worrying. Give it to God. Place it all at His feet and Trust Him to work it out.

My Fabulous Friday!

Well my fabulous Friday consisted of me shopping for my daughter. I had some grocery items along with some other last minute things I had to get for her, but since I will not be seeing her often, I had to make good on the time that we have before she leaves.

I know I will miss her and this is a good thing but I am still her mother and I will always love and be concerned about her. I love all of my girls and will always be a concerned mother.

Blessings...

Thankful Thursday

Today is Thankful Thursday and I will allow you the opportunity to post what you are thankful for on this awesome day. If God has been good to you and you want to thank Him, feel free. Shout it from the mountain top if you want to. You will probably see me there because He has been so good to me and I will thank Him. I am so grateful for what He has done and what He is going to do.

Have a Blessed Day in the Lord.

In His Care,

To Trust You Is To Believe

I wanted to share this poem with you about trust because I feel it is really hard for some to trust God with their all. It can be a daily struggle to Trust God when you have things going on in your life that are not going the way you planned. We have to have faith in God and know He will take care of us. Feel free to share your thoughts regarding trust in the comment section. I would love to hear from you.

To Trust You Is To Believe

Sometimes it seems impossible
To trust in you my Lord
But then again it’s all I have
When my backs against the wall

The pressures forever mounting up
And worsens with little hope
Though I pray and leave it with you
It’s so hard for me to cope

I know, O Lord, you teach us patience
Especially at those times
You want us to trust completely
Though answers are hard to find

And there are times it seems as though
You have stepped back from us
We feel so much alone in our mess
Not knowing you’re watching with love

You never really leave us Lord
Nor forsake us in our need
You only want us to trust you
And in your word believe

You know the circumstances we’re in
And know the struggles we face
The situation when given to you
Can empower our faltering faith

For in your word we’re told to give
To you all our anxieties
And all the worries and fears we have
Praying for the needed victory

For in due course you will come through
To bring the needed relief
And through it all we shall develop
A stronger and deeper belief

I'll Trust You Lord!

The Lord has placed the the word "Trust" into my spirit. It is so easy for us to place our trust into man (person). Someone who can disappoint, misuse and turn their back on us. Even after all of that we still have some trust they will not do it again. When it comes to giving God our all, it is very difficult for some to completely trust Him with their whole heart. I am here to let you know that I serve a God who will never leave me or forsake me. Man can tell you anything, but God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent. (Numbers 23:19) He will always stand on His word. He is a man I can always depend on to be there for me. I know we have all been disappointed by someone we love at some point in our lives. It may have been a parent, child, brother or sister and we still love and trust them anyway.

When you trust God, you are relying on Him to work in every area of your life. You have the confidence that He will work everything out. We know God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, and to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) We have to move out of the way and let Him work. He knows the plans He has for us.(Jeremiah 29:11) So we need to trust Him to handle it all.

Why not love and trust Our Heavenly Father with you whole heart?

Lord there are some things going on right now in my life and I'm trusting you to take control. People can't fix it or even make the situation better. Father Only you can. I stand on your word that all things are possible to him that believes. (Mark 9:23) According to my faith, I believe that it shall be done. No weapon form against me shall prosper.(Isaiah 54:17) God I trust you and I will not move until you say move. You are the only one who can shine light on every circumstance. I love you and I trust you with my whole heart. Amen!

Precious Lord

God, investigate my life; get all the facts firsthand.
I'm an open book to you;
even from a distance, you know what I'm thinking.
You know when I leave and when I get back;
I'm never out of your sight.
You know everything I'm going to say
before I start the first sentence.
I look behind me and you're there,
then up ahead and you're there, too—
your reassuring presence, coming and going.
This is too much, too wonderful—
I can't take it all in!

Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit?
to be out of your sight?
If I climb to the sky, you're there!
If I go underground, you're there!
If I flew on morning's wings
to the far western horizon,
You'd find me in a minute—
you're already there waiting!
Then I said to myself, "Oh, he even sees me in the dark!
At night I'm immersed in the light!"
It's a fact: darkness isn't dark to you;
night and day, darkness and light, they're all the same to you.

Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother's womb.
I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I'd even lived one day.

Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful!
God, I'll never comprehend them!
I couldn't even begin to count them—
any more than I could count the sand of the sea.
Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!
And please, God, do away with wickedness for good!
And you murderers—out of here!—
all the men and women who belittle you, God,
infatuated with cheap god-imitations.
See how I hate those who hate you, God,
see how I loathe all this godless arrogance;
I hate it with pure, unadulterated hatred.
Your enemies are my enemies!

Investigate my life, O God,
find out everything about me;
Cross-examine and test me,
get a clear picture of what I'm about;
See for yourself whether I've done anything wrong—
then guide me on the road to eternal life.
Psalm 139 (Message)

When Things Get Heavy

When things get heavy and you don't know what to do,
remember that God is always there to see you through.
Although you may not think or see that He's working it out,
please remember as long as He's in your heart you will not have to fight.

Trust and believe that He has your back
because as along as Satan is around you will always be under attack.
When things get heavy, cry out to Him.
By having faith and letting Him work, is the only way you will win.
