Therefore encourage one another and edify one another, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Letters to God

Today my daughter and I watched a movie "Letters to God". I must say that if you have not seen it, you should. It is very emotional and gives one inspiration, hope and faith.

Letters to God is based on an 8 year old boy named Tyler who is suffering from cancer. Tyler writes a letter to God on a daily basis. He shows strength and faith when those around him seem to be doubting God. After viewing this movie, you will find yourself examining the size of your faith and maybe even wonder if you could exemplify as much courage as Tyler.

Spending Time

I know I have been away from the blog for a minute, but I have been diligently seeking Our Father. Sometimes you have to put some things aside and focus more on what He is telling you to do. You also have to be willing to sit still and listen. I know that can be hard to do but if you want a clear understanding, you have to do what is required of you.

Spending quality time in the Word is SO Important in your growth as a Christian. Set aside a specific time daily when you know that you can spend some one on one time with the Lord.

When Things Get Heavy

When things get heavy and you don't know what to do,
remember that God is always there to see you through.
Although you may not think or see that He's working it out,
please remember as long as He's in your heart you will not have to fight.

Trust and believe that He has your back
because as along as Satan is around you will always be under attack.
When things get heavy, cry out to Him.
By having faith and letting Him work, is the only way you will win.

I'm Still Standing.

Today I reflect on the past three weeks or so that the enemy tried to distract me. I remained faithful and trustworthy in my Lord and Savior. With all that was going on, I knew I could not give the enemy any attention and eventually he would have to flee. The word rejoice has been in my spirit for the last two weeks. I rejoiced each and everyday through it all because God is faithful and I was determined to stand strong.

When I sat and pondered about the things the enemy was throwing at me, I realized God was placing some new people in my life during those trying times. I am so grateful for being diligent.

This morning the scripture James 1:17 came to me as soon as I opened my eyes. Every good and perfect gift comes from Above. I was excited again because it was so fitting for my past months trials.

I am thankful for all of my new found friends and those who have remained faithful during this trying time.

Just a little Encouragement.

Today's post is to encourage everyone to be the best YOU that you can be. Do not let other's dictate your future. God knows the plans He has for you. So, why listen to those who don't want to see you succeed? Everyone does not have your best interest at heart. Be very careful who you let into your circle. They may conduct themselves as though they are happy for you and want the best for you, but deep inside they may really have a hidden agenda. Then you have those who are only in your life for a season. It is very important to know when that season is up and do not try to hang onto someone because God maybe removing them from your life. It could be a family member or a friend. Just remain prayerful and He will reveal it to you.

God knows the desires of your heart. As long as you seek Him first in all you do, everything else will fall into place. He will either equip you to perform the assignment or He will send someone in to your life to help you carry out the vision He has given to you. Continue to pray for guidance and wisdom to make the right decisions.

NEVER Let Negativity Control You!!!

Blessed to Be a Blessing!

A Little Sluggish Today

This morning when I woke up I was feeling a little sluggish. Of course in my mind, I'm thinking I have too much to do today to not be feeling well. I began thinking about how we often let our feelings get the best of us. Do you ever feel like you are too tired to move? Too tired to talk? Too tired to pray? Now what if God was too tired to move on your behave? Have you ever stopped to think about that? Just like you will move when you are hungry. Yes, you could be tired, but I'm sure you're not too tired to eat.

Never get too tired for God. He is always faithful to us. Why can't we return the favor He has given us?

Declare today that no matter how you may feel you will always give Him time.

Until next time.

Be Blessed!

Why Worry?

Are you worrying about your job, finances, food, clothing, etc.? It's understandable because we all worry about something at some point in our lives, but that doesn't make it right. God knows your every need and He will provide. Philippians 4:19 "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Matthew 6:25-27 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"

I'm sure you have heard the saying Don't Worry, Be Happy. If you put your trust in the Lord and believe with all your heart that He will provide, He will bring you happiness. Has worrying about a situation ever changed your circumstances? Has anything good ever come out of worrying? When you worry, it can cause you to react when maybe all you need to do is be still and wait. Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God"

I challenge you today if you are worrying about something or in need, take it to God in prayer. There is no problem that is too big or small for God to handle. Philippians 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

God Favors Me!!

Good Morning My Sisters,

It is such a blessing to think of all the things God has brought me through. I know I have God's Favor. It makes me so happy inside I can't contain myself. When I think of His Goodness and all He's done for me, I just want to shout from the mountaintop. After all I have done, He still Loves me. There is no one on this earth that will never leave you or give up on you. Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one]. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Even when people are not faithful to you and things are coming against you, do not re-act in the same manner. If you do, you will be just as unfaithful as they are. I made it through everything the enemy came at me with and you can to. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning. Psalm 30:5 Through it all, you just remain faithful to God. He will bring you through it. Regardless of what someone says or does to me, I will remain faithful to God because I know He favors me.

God is completely faithful so, why not give Him the glory? He is So Worthy to be praised.

I will continue to speak life and prosperity because I know God Favors me!

Encouragement for Today

I come to give you a word of encouragement today. I know sometimes you may feel like all hope is lost and feel like giving up, but I'm here today to tell you to Let Go and Let God. You can find the courage and strength you need in Jesus Christ. Let the Lord have his way with you. Turn it all over to Him and he will strengthen your heart. Let His will be done.

Be faithful and continue to seek Him. Do not let anyone detour your vision of God. He is bigger than your circumstance. "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord." Psalm 31:24

You don't have to suffer from anxiety and depression. Just turn it all over to Him and He will take care of you. "Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7

Give Jesus Christ a try today!
